Ice Lakes Floating Dock and ADA Parking

The floating dock was placed adjacent to the boat launch in the park and picnic area of the Upper Ice Lake. The park includes a pavilion and rest room, and a gravel parking area. The parking area was enhanced with two asphalt-paved ADA accessible parking spaces and an asphalt-paved ADA accessible path to the new floating dock.

Due to the tapered design of the dock floats, it may be left in the lake during the winter with no damaging effects from the formation of ice. However, if desired, the dock has the capability of being removed in the fall for storage under the pavilion during winter months and reinstalled in the spring.
