Pitt Ohio Express Terminal

The main terminal section and truck maintenance facility are pre-engineered construction with bent frame structure, vertical metal panel sheathing and a standing seam metal roof. A poured-in-place concrete foundation wall is continuous around the entire perimeter of the building. The office section is a conventional frame steel and masonry structure with horizontal metal panel sheathing and a standing seam metal roof. Office interiors include carpet, vinyl wall covering and systems furniture.

HVAC systems in the office area are provided by a gas fired packaged heating and cooling unit. The truck maintenance facility is heated by an in-floor hydronic radiant system that is fueled by a gas fired hot water boiler.

The interior office space illumination is provided by energy efficient fluorescent lighting fixtures. The loading dock, parking area and building facade are illuminated by metal halide lighting fixtures. Emergency battery packs with remote adjustable heads provide emergency lighting for the entire facility. An infrastructure of electric metallic tubing supports the computer data network.
