Outpatient Counseling Center

Children’s Service Center, Wilkes-Barre, PA
Project Navigation
The Children’s Service Center was looking to expand the programs it offers and required additional space. The existing 10,000 SF Outpatient Building was insufficient to house the growth. After evaluating the programs and the site, it was determined that an adjacent new two-story building would provide the needed space, preserve the campus commons and the green space on the east side of the building. read more

The new two-story 10,000 SF building provides a shared vestibule with a separate entrance to the new Medical and Dental Clinics.  These clinics have their own receptionist and waiting area, a pharmacy, four exam rooms and two dental chairs. Administrative offices are immediately off of the main Waiting Area within their own secure suite.

The Second Floor will have a large Break Room with a Vending Area, kitchenette, counters and storage in a high-ceilinged, well-lit space that overlook the recreation field below. An adjacent Large Conference Room will have access to the Break Room kitchenette area. There will be two Parent-Child Interaction Therapy rooms on the second floor, each with an Observation Room. This floor will also have a suite for professional staff offices and the Information Technology Department .
