Architectural Technician / Intern Architect

Quad3 Group is a multi-disciplined firm located within the 16:62 Design Zone of Pittsburgh’s Lawrenceville neighborhood. We provide a wide array of architectural and engineering services to commercial, governmental, and educational clients.
We are currently seeking to fill a full-time position with a highly motivated and detail orientated individual experienced in the preparation of general construction documents. This position will play a key role in supporting the architecture and interior design department’s efforts to successfully implement projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be a team player and posses the following attributes:
• Minimum of an associate degree in a related field plus eight years of progressive experience (or a bachelor degree plus six years)
• Strong knowledge of construction document preparation including plans and details
• General knowledge of current building codes
• General knowledge of coordinating building engineering systems
• Experience in construction administration (submittal review, site observations, etc.)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office products
• Excellent organization skills
• Experience with BIM and/or Revit software a plus
The successful candidate must have access to a vehicle (for local jobsite visits), be a US Citizen, and be able to pass FBI, PA State Police and PA Dept of Welfare record checks.

Electrical Designer / Engineer – Building Systems - Pittsburgh Office

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-orientated individual with a minimum of an associate degree and 10 years, or a bachelor degree and 8 years, of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will be a team player and posses the following attributes:
• Experience in design of building electrical systems – power, lighting, fire alarm, etc.
• Experience in building voice, data, and security systems a plus
• Experience in medium voltage industrial and utility systems a plus
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office products
• Excellent organization skills
• Experience with BIM and/or Revit software a plus
The successful candidate must have access to a vehicle (for local jobsite visits), be a US Citizen, and be able to pass FBI, PA State Police and PA Dept of Welfare record checks.
