Survey, Wilkes-Barre General Hospital
Quad3 was retained to perform surveying and layout for a much anticipated 9-story building addition and expansion to the area’s largest community hospital. The facility supports over 400 physicians representing over fifty medical and surgical specialties.
Quad3 established the primary control network on the campus for the several contractors; verified the tie-in locations between the existing structure and the new structure; and established horizontal and vertical control on each of the new floors.
Our surveyors also verified the foundation locations, and elevations; column locations of all of the floors; floor slab elevations and locations; shear wall locations at the stairwells and elevator shafts for construction deviations.
