Upgrade Water Treatment Systems
Designed to provide a high level of solids removal from the water used in the fish raceways, the project consists of a pump station, a water line to bypass an estimated 13.8 million gallons of flow past the Series B Raceways to a screening building, and the lining of an existing polishing pond. An emergency generator building was also provided.
Working closely with the Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission and the Pennsylvania Department of General Services, Quad3 provided design, specifications, and drawings for the civil, surveying, architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical systems.
The Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission is planning additional items to the Huntsdale facility for Quad3, including further survey work, the lining of additional ponds, and the design and construction of:
- A new onsite sewage treatment system
- Improved facility security, including lighting and alarms
- The renovation of office space and existing buildings
- A new storage building, as well as numerous other electrical, mechanical, and site civil improvements.
