Electrical Distribution System Phases I & II

Bears Nest Village, Borough of Park Ridge, Park Ridge, NJ

Phase I & II provided the design and supervision for the installation of an electrical system for a large townhouse unit complex. The system consists of a three (3) phase, normally open loop feed duct with manhole underground distribution. Each townhouse has a measured electric demand of 25 to 30KVA.
The system consisted of eighteen (18) miles of direct buried underground primary, 112 single phase, pad mount transformers, isolation switching pedestals and two (2) group operated, pad mounted sectionalized switches. Aesthetics were of prime concern and much effort was put forth to design above ground facilities as inconspicuously as possible.
