Pennsylvania American Water

We have conducted various design, inspections, construction administration and surveying projects for PAW including:  inspection of raw water transmission mains connecting their reservoir in Elmhurst to the reservoir in Dunmore, PA; upgraded a 3.0 MGD coagulation, sedimentation and filtering facility for surface water supply; constructed 40,000 LF of water main running between Mt Pocono Borough and the Village of Tobyhanna, Monroe County; constructed a new regulator station in Plymouth, PA that provides water service to 3 separate pressure gradients within the surrounding municipalities; designed a new 250,000-gallon water storage tank, a new 165-GPM water treatment building with future booster station capabilities plus two groundwater wells with metering valve vaults, for supply.

Quad3 also performed a hydraulic model simulations for proposed projects for inclusion in their Comprehensive Planning Study (CPS) in the Northeast Service District. This consisted of approximately 1700 miles of piping, 10 surface water treatment plants, 42 storage tanks, 84 pressure regulators, and 63 pump stations. Based on the results of the model analysis, proposed projects were developed and included in the CPS.
