The Sheehy-Farmer Campus Center was the first of many significant enhancements to the King’s College Campus in the past few years and has become a focal point for student activity. The project took an existing 47,000 SF building and added a 3rd floor, bringing the total square footage to over 60,000 SF. read more

Sheehy-Farmer Campus Center

The interior features a grand lobby flanked by high visibility offices, a fine arts gallery and conference space on the first floor; a six-venue food court with permanent dining seating for 450 on the second floor; and banquet / special presentation space on the third floor.  This newly added third floor has become the crowning feature of the building with its majestic views of the campus and sophisticated audio/visual/sound projection system.  The ground floor is highlighted by the campus radio station, central stage performing platform and access to the newly renovated Regina Court and Lane’s Lane outdoor spaces.

The project from initial design to final construction was completed in a remarkable 11-month time period.  Construction materials were pre-ordered and plans put in place so construction could occur during the summer semester to minimize student inconvenience.
