GET AROUND
Community Involvement
For one and all – at Quad3, architecture and engineering are our vocations, and our passions – but the community we work and thrive in is inseparable from our careers. We do work in our communities – but also with our communities—to build a stronger whole.
Many of our people serve on committees, local boards, raise funds, serve food in local homeless shelters, coach youth basketball, serve on foundations…and pursue countless other essential activities. It’s all about bringing our energy to the society around us. It’s a give and take synergy – we give back, and in doing so take away a sense of pride and satisfaction. Quad3 individuals contribute to the fabric of our towns, cities and boroughs – and we help to weave a tighter knit community.
Zero Landfill
Quad3 with the assistance of Pugliano Construction collected and unloaded old samples for the organization “Zero Landfill”. Zero Landfill organizes community drop-off locations where designers and architectural firms can go to drop off their expired/unwanted materials to be recycled instead of taking space in landfills.
Filming "Trust Me"
Quad3 employees got a “behind the scenes” look at the effort it takes to produce a movie. “Trust Me”, written and produced by Marina Donahue and Chris Fetchko is the story of Charlie, who quits his high paying job to manage a struggling rock band. Our office was used for both interior and exterior office shots along with several locations throughout Wilkes-Barre including the River Commons, Mohegan Sun Casino, Cooper’s Seafood House in Pittston and the PNC Bank in Mountain Top. Their goal is to complete the movie in time for consideration in the Sundance Film Festival.
