Addition/Renovations, Hamburg Area

Renovations involved the complete upgrade of all interior finishes, replacement of all interior and exterior doors, window systems casework, lockers, auditorium seating and stage rigging with new laboratory and library furniture and fixtures. The electrical system upgrade included a new electrical service, new lighting, emergency lighting, telephone, intercom, fire alarm, cable television and data systems. Asbestos abatement of the entire high school was completed during the renovation process of the contract.

The new steel framed masonry walled addition includes a new 1,200 seat gymnasium, wrestling room, weight room and locker rooms. There is a new 250 seat large group instruction classroom supported by a “delta framed” steel structural system.

The site design included the addition of approximately 200 car parking spaces, new entrance roads, parking lot access road, new walkways with canopies and new landscaping. All existing paved areas were replaced. A full time architect’s project representative was on-site during the construction and renovations phases of this project.
